Cheese Straws

What You Need:

  1. 1 package shredded Cheddar cheese (8-10 oz)
  2. 1/2 cup softened butter
  3. 1 cup flour (try wheat flour if you want to pretend this is a super healthy snack)
  4. 1 teaspoon salt

What You Do:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. In a big bowl, mix the cheese and butter.
  3. Pour and blend in the flour and salt.
  4. Divide the mixture into 6 rolled balls.
  5. Roll the balls into slender “snakes.”
  6. Cut each “snake” into 4 straws.
  7. Bake the straws for about 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
