Quick and Easy Spicy Edamame

What You Need:

  1. 1/2 lb edamame, still shelled (can be from frozen and still be delicious)
  2. 1 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
  3. 3-4 (I like 4) minced garlic cloves/li>
  4. 5 tsp chili paste
  5. 1 tbsp miso
  6. 3 cups water
  7. 1 tsp salt

What You Do:

  1. Bring water to a boil.
  2. In a separate pan, start heating oil.
  3. Put shelled edamame and salt in boiling water.
  4. Let edamame boil for 5 minutes while in the pan, while in the separate pan, add garlic and chili paste to the heated oil.
  5. Add miso to paste and stir for a minute.
  6. Remove and drain the edamame.
  7. Cover edamame with paste, mix and coat well.
  8. Serve immediately.
