What You Need:
- 3-4lbs Bison Chuck Roast
- 1 1/2 tsp Bouillon paste
- 1 onion sliced thin
- 1/4 cup burgundy
- 2tsp minced garlic
- 3-4cups water
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- other spices to personal taste (like habanero pepper!)
- olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- splash balsamic
- shot jack daniels
What You Do:
- Brown fully thawed roast on all sides in cast iron with olive oil & butter
- mix garlic, pepper, bouillon, burgundy, balsamic, + desired spices over low heat, stir in Jack Daniels
- place browned roast in crockpot, cover with sliced onions and gently pour spice mix over roast
- add water & cover – cook 6-8 hours on low heat, add water if level drops too low
- slice roast thin for maximum enjoyment
