Super Awesome Delicious Bison Chuck Roast Recipe

What You Need:

  1. 3-4lbs Bison Chuck Roast
  2. 1 1/2 tsp Bouillon paste
  3. 1 onion sliced thin
  4. 1/4 cup burgundy
  5. 2tsp minced garlic
  6. 3-4cups water
  7. 1/2 tsp pepper
  8. other spices to personal taste (like habanero pepper!)
  9. olive oil
  10. 1 tbsp butter
  11. splash balsamic
  12. shot jack daniels

What You Do:

  1. Brown fully thawed roast on all sides in cast iron with olive oil & butter
  2. mix garlic, pepper, bouillon, burgundy, balsamic, + desired spices over low heat, stir in Jack Daniels
  3. place browned roast in crockpot, cover with sliced onions and gently pour spice mix over roast
  4. add water & cover – cook 6-8 hours on low heat, add water if level drops too low
  5. slice roast thin for maximum enjoyment
